Configuration Guides

CHARGE Anywhere Mobile Payment App

Android

Before configuring this device, you will need to copy the pin code located within the printer lid underneath the paper roll. Once you've copied the pin code, reseat the paper roll and close the lid. You will only be able to set up the device once you see a green light on the printer.

1. Pair the device to the Bluetooth of the phone/tablet.

  • Turn your device on. From the home screen of your phone/tablet, press your menu button.
  • Select Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth Settings
  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and select Scan for Devices. (Wait a few seconds for your phone/tablet to detect all Bluetooth devices within range)
  • Once devices are found, select the device that starts with P25 and enter the pin code. (Your P25 will be displayed under bluetooth devices stating "Paired but not connected")

2. Select the peripheral within CHARGE Anywhere Mobile Payment App.

  • Log into the app. Select Configure > Setup > Peripheral Devices.
  • Click Swiper to add peripheral. Select Bluetooth and choose your device. (If the device is capable of prinitng, it will prompt you to use as printer as well)

The light will change from green to blue, indicating that the device is ready to be used.

BlackBerry

iOS

  • Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on and your iOS product will search for all Bluetooth devices within range. Once device is found it will display under Devices and say "Not Connected"
  • Select your device and input your pin code.

2. Select the peripheral within CHARGE Anywhere Mobile Payment App.

  • Log into the app. Select Configure > Setup > Peripheral Devices.
  • Click Swiper to add peripheral. Select Bluetooth and choose your device. (If the device is capable of prinitng, it will prompt you to use as printer as well)

Windows Mobile

CHARGE Anywhere Designed for Use with QuickBooks

1. Ensure that the Windows drivers are installed. See Installing Drivers section below.

2. Log into the QuickBooks company file as Admin and go to Company > CHARGE Anywhere > Setup > Print Options. Click Peripheral Devices.

3. Use the dropdown menu under Card Swiper Configuration and Printer Configurations to select your device. Select the assigned Com Port.

4. Click Save on the Peripheral Device Configuration screen and click OK in the setup menu.

CHARGE Anywhere for Windows

1. Ensure that the Windows drivers are installed. See Installing Drivers section below.

2. Sign into the software and right click the CHARGE Anywhere icon in the notification section of your desktop. Select Setup.

3. Click on the Print Options tab and click Peripheral Devices. A Peripheral Device Configuration screen will appear.

4. Use the dropdown menu under Card Swiper Configuration and Printer Configurations to select your device. Select the assigned Com Port.

5. Click Save on the Peripheral Device Configuration screen and click OK in the setup menu.

Installing Drivers

1. Plug the P25 into an available USB port.

2. Download Windows 7 Drivers - http://uploads.chargeanywhere.com/pub/mwirth/P25_Drivers_for_Windows_7.zip

Download PreWindows 7 Drivers - http://uploads.chargeanywhere.com/pub/mwirth/P25_Drivers_for_Windows_pre7.zip

3. Open the downloaded zip folder and double click the installer executable inside. Follow prompts.

4. Restart your computer if prompted.
