You can process both swiped and keyed transactions within the mobile payment app. (To swipe transactions, a card reader must be configured. See Peripheral Help) Transactions are automatically batched by CHARGE Anywhere every day and sent to your processor for funding.

Sale

Manual Credit Sale (optional prompts disabled)
  1. To initiate a transaction tap on QuickSale.
  2. Select the tender (Credit, Debit, EBT Foodstamp.
  3. Enter the amount and additional prompts if configured.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Insert the card in the EMV reader or tap card for a contactless transaction (card must be NFC enabled)
  6. Confirmation screen will pop-up, tap on yes to continue with transaction.
  7. The transaction will process within 3-5 seconds and display/print the transaction response.

Auth Only

An auth only transaction will only issue a hold on the customer's card until it is forced (captured). Only when it is forced, will you be funded for the transaction.

  1. To initiate an authorization tap on Transactions.
  2. Tap on Auth Only.
  3. Enter the amount and additional prompts if configured.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Insert the card in the EMV reader or tap card for a contactless transaction (card must be NFC enabled)
  6. Confirmation screen will pop-up, tap on yes to continue with transaction.
  7. The transaction will process within 3-5 seconds and display/print the transaction response.
  8. If approved, the approval code will be needed to perform a manual Force. (See instructions for Force below)

Force (Capture)

Force (optional prompts disabled)

A force will claim a pending authorization from a previously processed Auth Only or Voice Authorized transaction. You will need the approval code issued during that transaction in order to manually force.

Tip: If the previous Auth Only was run from the QuickSale app, it can be easily forced via Logs > Auth Only Transactions or Logs > Untipped Transactions (if Restaurant industry type is set on the account)

  1. Tap on Transactions
  2. Tap on Force

  4. Tap on Submit

Manual Return

  1. To process a manual refund from the main screen of QuickSale tap on Logs
  2. Tap on Archives
  3. Navigate through the archives and locate the transaction to be returned
  4. Once the transaction has been located tap on it and the transaction details will display
  5. Tap on actions (3 dots) located on upper right corner of the screen
  6. Tap on Return transaction
  7. Tap on Return if refunding the whole amount or enter amount to refund and tap on Return if doing a partial refund.
