To edit the profile of a CHARGE Anywhere for Windows user:
(Only users with User Management enabled may be able to edit the profile of other users)
1. Right click the CHARGE Anywhere for Windows icon in the notification section of your taskbarto view the CAFW menu and select User Management.
2. Highlight the username and click Edit User. You will be able to edit:
- Password - (See Password Policy below)
- Clerk Number - Whenever the user processes a transaction, the Transaction Manager will display the clerk # to identify which user processed the transaction.
- Idle Timeout - If the user is signed in and does not perform a software action within the alotted time, the user will be signed out automatically. (Idle timeout defaults to 30 min.)
- Permissions - Choose a permission template or manually select which actions the user is allowed to perform. (See Permission Templates below)
Password Policy:
- Password has to be at least 8 alphanumerics
- Password must have digits
- Password must have both upper and lower case letters
Permission Templates: The permission templates are predetermined permissions that restrict employees from performing certain actions. (These permissions may be altered manually by users with User Management enabled)
