Performing a Synchronization will bring in any updated customer information into the Charge Anywhere database. It does not however update card information as we are not able to read the encrypted Quickbooks database. It is a good idea to perform a Synchronization every few months to make sure customer information is accurate.
To perform a Synchronization you will need to be logged into Quickbooks as an Admin and Single User. Choose Charge Anywhere from your Company drop down menu and choose Setup.
On the Setup menu click on the button Features.
Click on the button Synchronize.
The length of time the Synchronization process takes to complete depends on the size of your Quickbooks Company File. If you have a large customer database you may want to perform the Synchronization when no one needs to be logged into Quickbooks
