Add User

To add a user in CHARGE Anywhere for Windows:

(Only the Owner username and users with Add User permissions enabled may be able to add users)

1. Right click the CHARGE Anywhere for Windows icon in the notification section of your taskbarto view the CAFW menu. Select User Management and Click Add User.

2. Create a username. Create password and confirm it. (See Password Policy below)

3. You may assign a clerk number to the username. Whenever the user processes a transaction, the Transaction Manager will display the clerk # to identify which user processed the transaction.

4. Select an idle timeout. If the user is signed in and does not perform a software action within the alotted time, the user will be signed out automatically. (Idle timeout defaults to 30 min.)

5. Assign a Permission Template or manually select which actions the user is allowed to perform. (See Permission Templates below)

Password Policy:

• Password has to be at least 8 alphanumerics
• Password must have digits
• Password must have both upper and lower case letters

Permission Templates: The permission templates are predetermined permissions that restrict employees from performing certain actions. (These permissions may be altered manually by the Owner username or users with Edit User permission enabled)
