db4.mdb is a Microsoft Access database that is installed when using the payment application. Every user that will be using the payment application should have all permissions enabled for the db4.mdb.
Upon installing the payment application, you can choose where to place the db4 on your computer or network. By default, a db4 is placed in the payment application folder. C Drive > CHARGE Anywhere > Payment Application.
For merchants with QuickBooks installed on more than 1 computer, it is recommended to place the database on the same drive as the company file so that all computers accessing the company file can also access the payment application database.
