Mark as migrated is a way to avoid the conversion process of payment application versions created prior to 2008. When upgrading a version prior to 2008, all payment data will automatically be converted. If the payment application cannot complete the process, you will need to use Mark as Migrated.
1. Log in as admin user. Go to C Drive > CHARGE Anywhere > Payment Application > Mark as Migrated.
2. You will receive a certificate in QuickBooks asking for permission to access the company file. Select the third and the last option: "Yes, whenever the QuickBooks company file is open" and "Allow this application to access personal data...". Click Continue. Click Yes. Click Done.
3. The Mark as Migrated screen will appear. Press Process.
4. You will receieve a pop up that says "the file has been marked as migrated" and the Current Step value will change to 5.
