This message will appear if the customer you are attempting to run a transaction for is either marked Inactive in your QuickBooks Customer Center, or it is out of sync with the Charge Anywhere database.
Correcting this issue can be accomplished using the following steps.
1. Click OK on the Unexpected Error window. Go into your Customer Center and make sure the customer is active
2. If the customer is active double click on the customer name to bring up the Customer Profile. On the Customer Profile, put a period in any of the blank fields below and press OK. This way the Charge Anywhere application will see you have made a change to the customer and will re synchronize the customer data.
