Could not connect {peripheral}: The port does not exist
This error will occur opening launching CHARGE Anywhere for Windows. If you configured a peripheral with a COM Port previously, the device has either been disconnected or the COM Port has been reassigned. To resolve:
- 1. Ensure that the peripheral device is connected and check the assigned Com Port.
- 2. Right click the CHARGE Anywhere for Windows icon in the notification section of your taskbarto view the CAFW menu. Select Setup.
- 3. Go to Print Options tab and click Peripheral Devices.
- 4. Select your peripheral from the drop down menus and select the newly assigned Com Port.
