Overview

Two-factor Authentication is a great way to prevent unauthorized usage of your CHARGE Anywhere® account. It will allow you to use a Mobile Phone, Smart Phone, Tablet, or Landline Phone as an additional step to verify your identity when you log into the site. Contact your Merchant Service Provider if you would like to enable this feature for your account.

Getting Started

Navigate to https://www.chargeanywhere.com/TransactionManager/Login.aspx and enter the Username and Password provided in your activation emails.

If your Merchant Service Provider has enabled Two Factor Authentication on your account you will see this screen. Click on Start setup

You will need to register the type of device you want to use for Two-factor Authentication. Mobile Phone will allow you to receive a security code through a text message, or use the Duo Mobile app to authenticate your login. Choosing a Tablet will allow you to use the Duo Mobile app. Choosing a Landline will allow you to receive a phone call with a security code.

If you choose Mobile Phone or Landline you will be asked to confirm your Phone Number. Enter it in the field provided and then check off the box to confirm the information is correct. Press Continue when you are ready.

Select the type of Smart Phone you are setting up or choose Other. Other will only allow you to receive a Security Code through a phone call or text message.

If you have selected a Smart Phone you will be asked to install the Duo Mobile application. The application can be found by launching your app store and searching for Duo Mobile. Once you have the application installed on your Mobile device click on I have Duo Mobile Installed

Launch the Duo Mobile app on your phone and press the Add Account button and scan the QR code with your Mobile Device's camera. When the code is scanned correctly you will see a green check mark on the screen. Press Continue to complete the account setup.

Once the Duo account setup is completed you will see the following screen. The options may vary depending on the type of device you have configured. Duo Push will send a push notification to the app on your Mobile Device. Passcode will send you a text message with a security code to enter. Call will allow you to get a security code to enter from a phone call. Once you enter the provided code you will be logged into the site.

If you choose the Duo Push option you will receive a message in your push notifications advising you of the login attempt. It will list that the login attempt is for Charge Anywhere LLC, along with the username, location, and IP Address of the login attempt. You can choose to approve or deny the login attempt. Once you click Approve you will be asked to confirm, click confirm to complete the login.
