              Connection Failed! Please verify the Database Server and try again.

This error occurs when launching CHARGE Anywhere for Windows if the database file has been moved or deleted. The database file is called comstarpos.mdb. By default, the database is located C:\CHARGE Anywhere\CHARGE Anywhere for Windows\comstarpos.mdb.

If the location of comstarpos.mdb has been moved

1. Right click the CHARGE Anywhere for Windows icon in the notification section of your taskbarto view the CAFW menu. Select Setup.
2. Click the Browse button, navigate to the new location of comstarpos.mdb, and select it.


If comstarpos.mdb cannot be located or has been deleted, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the program:

1. Go to your Control Panel > Add Remove Programs or Programs and Features.
2. Uninstall CHARGE Anwyhere.
3. Install the program. See CAFW Installation.
