For Windows 8 and 10
1. Right Click on the Windows Start Menu icon and choose Device Manager.
2. Expand Ports. The assigned Com Port is listed next to each device.
For Windows Vista and 7
1. Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager
2. Expand Ports. The assigned Com Port is listed next to each device.
For Windows XP
1. Go to Control Panel > System > Device Manager.
2. Expand Ports. The assigned Com Port is listed next to each device.
